Contest 2008 2nd Edition
2008 Laure Selignac contest consists in
the decoration of a porcelain box on the following
theme: “This object* is timeless
and exists for couple of centuries and is part
of women’s life since Marie-Antoinette.
This box will naturally find its place on the
vanity next to perfumes, lipsticks and any other
beauty accessories. This object is essential in
a refined women’s interior and is transmitted
among the different generation. Crossing time,
it is the keeper of child’s souvenir and
family traditions. Whose little girl has not opened
this little box containing her mother’s
secrets? Our mothers, grand-mothers were using
it to powder, to keep secrets or treasury or milk
teeth. Imagine a porcelain box decorated in Marie
Antoinette or contemporary style so that it achieves
all its nobility.
On demand and with a € 30 participation
fee, we will send you one of our box.
The winner will be designated on October, 10,
2008 and will receive a price of € 1 000.
Its creation will be commercialised (limited series)
