Selignac was created in 1993 to bring new
life to the ancient art of hand-painted
porcelain.
The story began in 1919 when Mr. Larat opened up
his first workshop upon returning from the First
World War. Trained at the end of the 19th century
in the tradition of the Manufacture Royale de Sèvres,
Mr. Larat transmitted his savoir-faire to his painters…
Today, Alexandra Groussard leads a team of experienced
artists at Laure Selignac
in carrying on the pure traditions
hand-painted Limoges porcelain and magnificent
gold relief.
